This past week, the European Policy Centre think tank hosted an interesting event to discuss how EU institutions can benefit from implementing a One Health (or planetary health) approach to policy-making.
My contribution as a speaker representing the European Environment Agency focused on issues such as the importance of high-level leadership on One Health, the role of EU agencies (including the EEA) and their recently-created One Health task force, and the need to see environmental protection as part of disease prevention.
